For Installing Charging Stations In A Single Family Home
Single Dwelling Wall ChaRgeRs.
Installation Packages.
Panel In Garage
- Install of cable, breaker and charger within 20 feet of panel
- Panel must be in the garage
- Location of charger must be within 40 kilometres of office
- Cost of wall charger is excluded
- Cost of permit or service upgrade excluded
- Demand calculation approved before to install
- Unforeseen electrical issues or hazards prior to our arrival excluded
Total Value: $750 plus GST
Panel Located Outside of Garage
- Install cable through dwelling to charger location, breaker and charger
- Pricing is dictated by panel location, accessibility, and difficulty of fishing a cable to charger location
- Cost of wall charger is excluded
- Location of charger must be within 40 kilometers of office
- Cost of permit excluded
- Demand calculation approved before to install
- Unforeseen electrical issues or hazards prior to our arrival excluded
Installation of the Wall Charger
- Nema 14-50R outlet must be provided for in EV charger location or No.8 AWG copper conductor
- Installation of wall charger (cost of wall charger unit excluded)
- Location of charger must be within 40 kilometers of office
- Cost of permit excluded
- Unforeseen electrical issues or hazards prior to our arrival excluded
Installation of Nema 14-50R outlet
- Install of cable, breaker and 14-50R Nema outlet within 50 feet of panel
- Panel must be in the garage, there will be additional costs for a panel located outside the garage
- Location of charger must be within 40 kilometers of office
- Cost of permit or service upgrade excluded
- Unforeseen electrical issues or hazards prior to our arrival excluded

Are you looking to add an Electric Vehicle Charger for your fleet or business? Incentives are available from Plug In BC thatwill offer a reimbursement of 33% of total cost (before tax) up to $2,000 per station purchased and installed. Any additional cost will be borne by the fleets

There are now more than 1,000 public charging stations in B.C, of which 70 are fast chargers operated by BC Hydro and located along B.C.’s major highways.
Most Vancouver public charging stations are easy to find via PlugShare, a smartphone app and website. You can easily use PlugShare’s filters locate the stations closest to you.
