Powering up Sustainability: Explore EV Charger Rebates for Apartment and Condo Buildings

As electric vehicles (EVs) become more popular, it’s important to ensure that there are sufficient charging stations available to support them. This is particularly challenging for apartment and condo buildings, where residents often don’t have access to private garages or parking spaces. Need help with installations.

EV Chargers rebates for apartment and condo buildings

If your building is planning to upgrade its parking stalls to support electric vehicle (EV) charging, there are provincial rebates available to help offset the costs. The standalone EV charger rebate offer provides up to $350 per charger, while the EV Ready rebate helps subsidize the cost of planning and installing the necessary electrical infrastructure to support your current or future EV charging needs.

Installing EV chargers can be costly, but by taking advantage of the EV Ready rebates, you can reduce the cost per parking space. Additionally, installing more chargers at once simplifies the process of adding more chargers over time as more EVs are adopted.
