We have a determined vision to reduce carbon emissions through avenues like solar and LED lighting. We see the demand and potential to provide charging stations for EVs, as well as information for electric vehicle rebates, or EV incentives.
Here’s the breakdown of the incentive amounts for the purchase or lease of each type, as of November 2021:
- $3,000 for purchase or lease of a new battery electric vehicle (BEV/EV).
- $1,500 for purchase or lease of a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
- $3,000 for purchase or lease of a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle (FCEV).
The dealership will handle all the paperwork for you. If you purchase an eligible vehicle, you’ll receive the rebate at the point of sale.

Federal vehicle rebates
Get up to $5,000 off the purchase price of a new EV
There are additional incentives for purchasing an electric vehicle in Canada. Qualifying vehicles (battery electric and longer range plug-in hybrids) are also eligible for electric vehicle rebates from the federal government, ranging from $2,500 for most PHEVs up to $5,000 for EVs and a few select PHEVs. Vehicles need to have a base model MSRP of $45,000 or less, with higher values qualifying when the vehicle has more than seven seats.
